Verification or reset email didn't arrive

What to check when a verification, password reset or welcome email from Terra does not show up.

Terra sends three kinds of email: address verification, password reset and a short welcome. Invitations are links you share yourself, so they never arrive by email from Terra.

Check the basics

  1. Wait two or three minutes. Mail is sometimes delayed.
  2. Look in spam, junk, promotions and any quarantine your organisation uses.
  3. Search your mailbox for "Terra".
  4. Make sure you typed the address correctly. Terra shows the same message whether or not an address exists, so a typo looks like success.

Verification email

  • The link works for 24 hours. If it has expired, sign up again with the same email to get a new one; the earlier link stops working.
  • If you already have a verified account, Terra sends a "you already have an account" email instead, with links to sign in and reset your password.

Password reset email

  • Only verified accounts receive a reset link. If you never verified your address, sign up again instead.
  • The link works once, within 24 hours.
  • If your account was created with Google and has no password, the reset link lets you set one.

Too many requests

Terra limits how many emails can be sent to one address in a short time. If you requested several in a row, wait 15 minutes before trying again.

Work email filters

Some practice email systems hold mail from new senders. Ask your IT contact to allow mail from useterra.si. If you still have nothing after that, write to hello@useterra.si from the address you are trying to use.
