You can sign in to Terra with Google instead of a password. It is the same Terra account either way.
Sign in with Google
- On the sign-in page, or on your practice login link, choose Continue with Google.
- Pick your Google account.
Terra checks the sign-in with Google and requires a verified Google email address.
How Terra finds your account
- If this Google account is already linked to Terra, you are signed in.
- If not, and a Terra account exists with the same email, Google is linked to it.
- If neither exists, Terra creates an account using the name from Google. If Google does not share a name, you finish a short profile first.
If someone had started a sign-up with your address but never verified it, signing in with Google proves the mailbox is yours. Terra discards that pending password before linking.
Invitations
If you were invited to a practice, open the invitation link and choose Continue with Google with the invited address. The invitation is accepted when you sign in. A Google account with a different email cannot accept it.
Using both methods
An account created with Google has no Terra password. To add one, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page and set a password from the emailed link.
Workspace accounts
If your practice uses Google Workspace, your administrator may control which apps can use Google sign-in. If Continue with Google fails for your work account, ask them to allow Terra, or sign in with your email and password.
