Every new practice starts with Terra's built-in templates, so you can document a visit on day one. They are read-only; to change one, duplicate it.

Starter template packs

On the Templates screen, Starter template packs offers 27 more structures in seven packs: general encounters, primary care, pain and rehabilitation, procedures, weight management, correspondence and administrative encounters.

  1. Open a pack and look through its sections.
  2. Select the structures you want.
  3. Choose whether the copies are personal (only you) or for the whole practice (needs management permission).
  4. Confirm that you will review the copies before use.

Copies arrive as unpublished drafts. They contain headings and writing instructions only, never patient values, normal exam findings or pre-filled negatives. Review and publish them before using them on a visit.

How templates guide the draft

Each section of a template tells the draft what belongs there. The draft returns exactly the template's sections, in order. A section with nothing documented reads [Not documented], so your template never fills itself with assumptions.
