A practice (Terra calls it a workspace) holds your patients, visits, templates, members and billing. The person who creates it becomes its first manager.
Create the workspace
- Sign in. If you have no practice yet, Terra shows Create a practice workspace. If you already belong to one, open the account menu under your avatar and choose Create another workspace.
- Enter the practice name, for example "Riverside Family Medicine".
- Check the login address. Terra suggests one from the name, shown as
app.useterra.si/o/riverside-family-medicine/login. You can change it now or later. - Choose Create workspace.
The new practice starts with Terra's 13 built-in templates and no patients, visits or documents.
Add your details and logo
Go to Settings → Practice → Overview to edit:
- Name and description, shown on your practice sign-in page.
- Login address, the short name in your practice login link.
- Logo, a PNG or JPEG up to 1 MiB and 2,048 pixels on either side. Terra re-encodes the image before showing it, which strips hidden metadata. SVG files are not accepted.
Start the free trial
A new practice has no credits until you choose to start the trial. Open Usage and plan from the credit balance at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Start 7-day trial. The trial is for synthetic patients and includes 15 drafted notes, 200 minutes of recorded audio, 50 document pages and 3,000 credits. The free trial explains each limit.
