Every person who uses Terra has their own account. One account can belong to several practices, so you only sign up once.
Sign up with email
- Go to app.useterra.si/signup.
- Enter your work email and a password between 10 and 128 characters. Long passphrases are fine; Terra does not cut them off.
- Choose Create account. Terra shows the same confirmation whether or not the address is already registered, so nobody can use the form to find out who has an account.
- Open the email from Terra and select the verification link.
If the address already has a verified account, the email says so instead and links to sign-in and password reset.
Verify your address
The verification link works for 24 hours. It opens a page that confirms your address and takes you straight to the profile step. If the link has expired, sign up again with the same address: Terra replaces the pending password and the earlier links stop working.
Finish your profile
- Enter your name as you want it to appear on signed notes. This is required.
- Optionally add pronouns and credentials, such as "MD", "DO", "NP" or "LCSW".
- Choose Continue to Terra. Terra sends a short welcome email and signs you in.
If you have no practice yet, you will be asked to create one or accept an invitation.
Sign up with Google
On the sign-in page choose Continue with Google and pick your Google account. Terra uses the account's verified email:
- If a Terra account with that email already exists, Google is linked to it.
- If not, a new account is created with the name from Google. If Google does not share a name, you finish the profile step above.
You can use either method afterwards. See Google sign-in for details.
